Infrastructure Analyst

As an Infrastructure Analyst, you’ll play a key role in designing, integrating, and supporting Genoa’s IT infrastructure. You’ll work closely with operations and development teams to deliver robust, secure, and high-performing systems, while also helping to maintain compliance, resolve escalated issues, and continuously improve the technological environment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and support infrastructure systems including servers, networking equipment, and security solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, develop implementation plans and provide regular updates on project or service delivery.
  • Ensure systems meet availability, performance, security, and compliance objectives while monitoring and analyzing capacity issues.
  • Assist in managing and supporting network connectivity and communication systems.
  • Implement and maintain identity and access management systems to align with security protocols.
  • Respond to escalated service requests, incidents, and problem tickets while supporting business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response efforts
  • Perform advanced administrative tasks across on-premises servers, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments and maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure assets, configurations, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with operations and facilities teams on data room and equipment needs.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years’ experience in IT systems, cloud infrastructure, networks, or similar.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundation, Azure Admin, Windows Server Hybrid Admin, Fortinet, CompTIA Server+/Network+).
  • Experience supporting multi-tier applications across endpoints, servers, databases, and services.
  • Working knowledge of Entra ID, Intune, M365, Active Directory, SQL Server, and ManageEngine.
  • Familiar with Windows and Linux OS.
  • Experience with AutoCAD/ShipConstructor/Cadmatic is an asset.
  • Understanding of data privacy and security standards (e.g., NIST 800 series).
