Global Gourmet Foods is a division of Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (TSX: PBH) which owns a broad range of leading specialty food manufacturing and differentiated food distribution businesses with operations. Global Gourmet Foods is a federally registered food manufacturer who supplies premium kettle products to key accounts in both domestic and export markets. We are seeking dynamic and responsible individuals to join our Global team.

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled individual to join our IT Team in a hybrid role that combines IT Helpdesk Support and Junior Analyst responsibilities. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the IT Analyst to provide technical support and contribute to system and data analysis across our 200-person organization. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Prepare and configure all equipment, software, and access for new hires and departing employees
  • Install, test, configure, maintain, and repair computer hardware, software, operating systems, and the corporate network
  • Prepare documentation and diagrams for computer and office equipment
  • Act as a resource for all applications within the Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  • Assist with moving and setting up computer rooms, servers, and related equipment
  • Provide support for the VOIP telephone system
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to users and IT infrastructure (on-site or remotely), including computers, servers, virtualization, mobile devices, and printers
  • Respond to system alerts, including occasional after-hours support when required
  • Perform scheduled after-hours maintenance as needed
  • Participate in IT succession planning, testing, and implementation
  • Contribute to IT security, compliance audits, and system documentation
  • Perform data analysis and assist in process improvement initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • A two-year technical certificate or university degree in computer technology or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • A+ certification or other network administration qualifications are highly desirable
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or related functions would be ideal
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware) and Windows Server; Linux knowledge is an asset
  • Excellent understanding of Active Directory and related services (GPO, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
  • Solid knowledge of networking concepts (firewall, switch, router, WiFi) and Microsoft 365 products
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI is an asset
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks products preferred
  • Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and multitasking skills with attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Location: Richmond, with regular travel to other locations

Competitive salary and wages are negotiable depending on experience
