Full job description

We're Hiring: Registered Social Worker
Gibson and Associates Psychotherapy | London, Ontario

Gibson and Associates is a well-established, female-led psychotherapy practice with in-person offices in London, Barrie, and Toronto, and virtual services across Ontario. We are an anti-racist, queer-allied practice grounded in compassion, clinical integrity, and genuine investment in the people who work with us.

We're growing our London team and looking for skilled, values-aligned clinicians who want to do meaningful work in a practice that knows their name.

This is a part-time contract position with flexible, self-determined hours, and the potential to grow into full-time work.

What We're Offering

A 60/40 fee split with a team that actively supports your caseload growth through marketing, client matching, and a strong referral engine. We handle the back-end so you can focus on clinical work: virtual platform, secure booking and records through Jane, peer consultation, and a beautiful, centrally located London office.

You'll also have access to invitations to team events and learning opportunities. We support clinicians who are building their practice, not just filling a seat.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for master's-level RSWs who are curious, self-directed, and ready to be part of a team that takes culture seriously.

We're particularly interested in clinicians with training or experience in couples therapy, IFS, or organizational mental health, including workplace consultations, debriefings, and facilitation. These are growing areas of our practice, and we'd love to build alongside someone who shares that interest.

Our ideal candidates bring current registration and good standing with OCSWSSW, a clinical focus they feel genuinely passionate about, confidence in evidence-based approaches, professionalism and independence, and a willingness to work in person at our London office.

What Partnership Actually Looks Like

We invest heavily in growing your caseload through marketing, client matching, and a strong referral engine. What we need from you is a partner in that effort: someone who shows up consistently, runs strong initial consultations, converts those into long-term therapeutic relationships, and builds the kind of trust that keeps clients coming back.

We do the heavy lifting on visibility and operations. But marketing only works when there's something real to promote. That means we'll ask you to show up in the form of engagement: sharing your voice, your specialties, and your perspective so we can put it to work within the platform and foundation we've already built. We can amplify you. We can't invent you.

Other Requirements

Professional liability insurance, business registration as an independent contractor, and the ability to submit accurate and timely documentation in Jane. We're happy to support you in getting these in place if needed.

To Apply

If this sounds like a fit, please send your resume and a brief letter of interest to Abby Ajvaz, Clinical Director, at abby@gibsoncounselling.ca.

In your letter, tell us about your area of practice, relevant training, and your weekly availability and preferred schedule.

Please note, we are reviewing applications the week of July 13th. Only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.
