Job Overview

As a Cashier/Sales Assistant, you’ll support customers throughout their shopping experience, combining accurate checkout service with helpful product guidance. You’ll contribute to an organized, welcoming store and help customers find products that suit their needs.

Duties

  • Process purchases and returns using the POS system, handle cash carefully, and apply basic math to verify transactions.
  • Assist with retail sales, answer product questions, demonstrate products, and offer relevant options through attentive customer service and upselling.
  • Maintain merchandising displays, replenish products, and keep the sales area organized.
  • Manage customer inquiries and phone interactions with clear communication, professional phone etiquette, and effective time management.

Your impact: Helpful product guidance and accurate transactions make shopping easier for customers and support smooth teamwork.

Qualifications

Required: Clear communication, basic math, customer service, and the ability to handle cash accurately, use POS technology, and stay organized while assisting customers. English proficiency supports clear service and accurate transactions. Preferred: Retail sales, cashiering, technology sales, product demonstrations, or technical sales experience; bilingual or multilingual abilities are valued.

Pay: $16.60-$27.91 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
