Job details
Full job description
You've Never Been Satisfied with “Good Enough.”
You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.
At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably.
You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.
Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next
- (Internal Title: Construction Safety Officer)
- Safety Culture:
- Align with the Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) strategies of the project and support the implementation of HSW initiatives.
- Champion transformational Occupational Safety, Health and Wellbeing initiatives and drive their implementation with contractors.
- Collaborate with and influence contractor safety and construction teams to promote and strengthen the YNSE project safety culture.
- Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively across departments, teams, and organizational levels to achieve shared goals.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships through open communication, mutual respect, and a solution-oriented approach.
- Actively seek stakeholder input, value diverse perspectives, and contribute to a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Safety Assurance Activities:
- Conduct regular field audits and inspections in accordance with project safety assurance plan requirements.
- Ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) arising from incidents, observations, audits, and inspections are tracked and completed in a timely manner.
- Conduct safety assurance reviews to verify that industry best practices are consistently implemented across applicable project activities.
- Prepare required reports and provide data inputs for project reporting.
- Collect and maintain records required for evaluating the effectiveness of safety programs.
- Compile project-wide HSW KPIs and leading indicators and report findings to the safety director or designate to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure timely reporting and investigation of incidents.
- Verify that corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented and sustained.
- Develop and deliver best-practice guides, training materials, presentations, and briefing packages tailored to the needs of specific project stakeholders.
- Perform additional duties as required to support project deliverables and key activities during Annual Service Plans.
- Working Conditions
- Office-based
- With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
- Minimum of five(5) years of direct onsite construction safety management experience.
- College Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Risk Management, and industry experience
- Advanced understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Construction Regulations, its application on construction projects, establishment of strong safety culture on-site and accident prevention techniques, compliance with external and internal policies.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
- The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it's complex and it matters, it's on our list.
- You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands.
- AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You'll use it, and you'll help shape it.
- Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name.
- Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support.
- Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That's the point.
- Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENR's 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Construction's Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026.
ABOUT ACCENTURE CONSTRUCT
Accenture Construct is Accenture's global capital projects business.
The data centers behind AI. The grid behind the energy transition. The rail, water and airports everything else runs on.
We plan them, engineer them, deliver them and hand them over — and unlike most of this market, we're on the hook for whether they land on time. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. One team that owns the whole thing.
