Job Overview

Century is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and motivating Spin Instructor to join our community fitness program! This position begins with one class per week schedule to be determined starting in August, with the opportunity to expand to two classes per week starting in September, and the potential for additional classes as our fitness program grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead an engaging 50-minute indoor cycling class (approximately 39–42 minutes of ride time, followed by a 5-minute cool down).
  • Create motivating playlists and class experiences that accommodate a range of fitness levels.
  • Arrive early to set up the spin studio and prepare the bikes for class.
  • Wipe down and sanitize all bikes and equipment after each class.
  • Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and positive environment for residents.
  • Provide safe instruction, proper form cues, and exercise modifications when appropriate.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Current Group Fitness and/or Indoor Cycling (Spin) Instructor Certification.
  • Current CPR/AED Certification.
  • Previous spin instruction experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication and motivational skills.
  • Dependable, professional, and punctual.

Schedule

  • Starting: One weekend morning class per week.
  • Beginning in September: Two classes per week, with opportunities for additional classes in future.

Audition Process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a live audition by teaching a brief spin class. This allows us to assess coaching style, music selection, cueing, energy, and overall class experience.

If you're passionate about fitness and enjoy creating an exceptional experience for participants, we'd love to hear from you!

Pay: From $55.00 per hour
