Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Sous Chef to join our vibrant culinary team! In this energetic role, you will be a key player in delivering exceptional dining experiences by assisting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, supervising food preparation, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality food production
  • Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, including cooks, food handlers, and other team members, fostering a positive team environment
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety
  • Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor stock to minimize waste while ensuring ingredient availability
  • Support restaurant management with training staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and service standards

Qualifications

  • Proven supervising experience within a busy restaurant or food service setting
  • Extensive food preparation and cooking skills with a strong knowledge of culinary techniques
  • Prior food service experience in a restaurant environment is essential
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent team management skills
  • Solid understanding of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and hospitality industry practices
  • Experience with food handling, bartending or serving is a plus but not mandatory
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality
