Overview :

PepsiCo Foods Canada has a current opening at the Frito Lay Facility in Cambridge, ON for an OTR Driver.

Shift: Friday - Tuesday (mornings, or afternoons)

Start times for this shift will flex from 2am through to 3pm

Responsibilities:
  • Delivery of product to Frito Lay facilities and external customers with single or Long Combination vehicles (LCV’s), with auto or standard shift tractor
  • Unload product at all customers and internal locations by hand or with handcart (must be able to unload bins)
  • Will be required to do overnight runs with the use of a bunk tractor
  • OTR Drivers must comply with all FLC Controls, Traffic Safety and MTO policies and regulations
  • OTR Drivers must be service/customer focused
Qualifications:
  • Must have a clean driver’s abstract and current medical in good standing
  • 5+ years of experience as an OTR Driver
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
  • Long Combination Vehicle (LCV) experience is an asset
  • Proven ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Results-driven with the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs as required
  • Proficient in basic computer skills (e.g., digital logs, reporting tools)
  • Flexible and adaptable to scheduling changes and business demands
