Full job description

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
  • Take dine-in, takeout, and phone orders using the POS system.
  • Process and manage online orders through Uber Eats and other delivery platforms.
  • Explain menu items and make recommendations to customers.
  • Pack takeout and delivery orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve food and beverages while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Basic food preparation, including chopping and preparing chicken, pork, beef, and other ingredients.
  • Perform basic cooking following company recipes and procedures.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Clean and sanitize the dining area, kitchen, washrooms, and other work areas.
  • Sweep and mop floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Receive, organize, and restock inventory deliveries.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Operate on the company food truck by preparing, packing, and serving food to customers.
  • Process cash, debit, and credit card payments accurately and assist with cash counting when required.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and assist in all areas of the restaurant as business needs require.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management to support daily restaurant operations.

Ideal Candidate

  • Friendly, positive, and customer-focused.
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
  • Willing to learn all aspects of restaurant operations.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
  • Previous restaurant or customer service experience is an asset but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.95 per hour
