Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator with Level 2/3 to join our educational team. The ideal candidate MUST have a strong background in early childhood education and MUST be Montessori trained with experience in a Montessori classroom. The candidate should show a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, promoting social and emotional development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our care.

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
  • Assess and document children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports diverse learning needs.
  • Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Skills

  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
  • Must have Montessori education and training.
  • Should have experience in a Montessori classroom.
  • Strong background in childcare, or working with people with disabilities.
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
  • Effective teaching strategies tailored for early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
