Recently acquired by Sino Biological, a world-renowned reagent supplier and contract research organization listed on ChiNext of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (301047 Sino Biological Inc.). SignalChem is now expanding its capabilities and creating multiple new positions.
Job Description:
SignalChem Biotech Inc. is seeking a well-qualified Research Assistant in the Production team. The candidate must have exceptional people skills and perform well in a team environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
● Protein expression in E. coli, Yeast, insect cells or mammalian cells.
● Protein purification using various purification techniques: IMAC, IEX, SEC, and etc.
● Analyze experimental data and properly document experiments, and prepare experimental reports.
● Troubleshoot experiments and identify abnormal or unexpected trends in data.
● Other related duties as needed or assigned.
Requirements:
● Bachelor degree with minimum 1 year of industrial laboratory experience or equivalent for the position of Research Assistant. A master degree in relevant fields or equivalent is preferred for the position of Research Associate.
● Extensive experience in yeast expression and purification with bioreactors are preferred.
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with cross-
functional teams.
● Self-motivated with strong organizational, written, and verbal communication, and problem-solving skills.
● Track record demonstrating meticulous and detail-oriented.
● Quick learner with the ability to rapidly apply new concepts and techniques.
