JOB POSTING NOTICE

MOBILE CRANE OPERATOR – PROJECTS & TURNAROUNDS

Location: TNT Crane & Rigging Canada Inc. – Medicine Hat, Alberta

Position Type: Temporary / Project-Based

Trade Level: Journeyman Crane Operator preferred – apprentices will be considered

TNT Crane & Rigging Canada Inc. is currently hiring Mobile Crane Operators to support upcoming projects and turnarounds work in the Medicine Hat, Alberta area. This is a temporary, project-based position. Journeyman Crane Operators are preferred; registered apprentices are encouraged to apply.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Branch Manager and Operations personnel, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

§ Operating all terrain, rough terrain, boom truck and carry deck cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials

§ Setting up, rigging down and relocating cranes on site as required

§ Determining safe lifting capacities and working to approved lift plans

§ Completing pre-use inspections and maintaining equipment in safe operating condition

§ Thinking and reacting under pressure in an active project or plant environment

§ Communicating effectively with dispatch, project supervision and site crews

§ Working within all TNT and client site safety requirements

Skills & Requirements

§ Journeyman Crane Operator ticket – registered apprentices will be considered

§ All-terrain, Rough-terrain, boom truck and carry deck experience

§ Current safety tickets: H2S Alive

§ Previous turnaround, plant or project site experience

§ Flexibility to work extended shifts and a demanding project schedule

§ Must successfully complete pre-employment drug & alcohol testing

Position Details

§ Duration: temporary employment tied to the project and turnaround scope

§ Work location: Medicine Hat, Alberta

§ Rate of pay: based on experience and certification level

§ Anticipated start date: August 15, 2026
