Mobile Crane Operator (339A) – AZ Licence Required

Hamati Roofing Ltd. is looking for an experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join our team.

This position involves operating a mobile crane on commercial, industrial and residential roofing projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience operating mobile cranes.
  • Valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification – Hoisting Engineer – Mobile Crane Operator 1 (339A).
  • Valid AZ Driver's Licence (required).
  • Clean driver's abstract.
  • Experience working on construction sites.
  • Strong knowledge of crane setup, load charts, rigging practices and safe lifting procedures.
  • Strong understanding of Ontario health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Reliable, dependable, and safety-oriented.
  • Beginner to intermediate English communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate mobile cranes safely and efficiently to lift, move, and position roofing materials, equipment, and other construction materials.
  • Transport the crane to and from project sites throughout the GTA.
  • Perform daily pre-operational inspections and routine equipment checks.
  • Set up, level, and configure the crane in accordance with manufacturer specifications and site conditions.
  • Review lift plans, load charts, and site conditions prior to each lift.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors, riggers, and signal persons to complete lifts safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure all lifts are performed in compliance with company policies and Ontario health and safety regulations.
  • Complete daily crane inspection reports, logbooks, and required documentation.
  • Report equipment deficiencies, maintenance requirements, incidents, or unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Assist with crane mobilization and demobilization as required.
  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment while representing Hamati Roofing Ltd. on project sites.
