Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable diamond driller with core drilling experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in diamond drilling, possess mechanical knowledge, and will be responsible for operating drilling equipment

Duties

  • Operate CS 1000 drilling rigs and associated equipment.
  • Operate core drilling equipment to extract geological samples
  • Perform routine maintenance on drilling equipment as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan and execute drilling schedules effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of drilling activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during operations.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of previous experience in drilling operations, particularly geotechnical experience, and piezometer installation.
  • Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance.
  • Familiarity with forklift operation.
  • Experience in the mining industry is a requirement.
  • GMSA, WHMIS.
  • Drug and Alcohol pre-access testing.

Pay: $5,000.00-$5,700.00 per week
