Mader Group's Payroll team is expanding! To support this growth, we are seeking a full-time Payroll Administrator. Be part of a social workplace that prioritizes culture!

This is an office-based role, working Monday - Friday

Ideal Candidate:

• PCP designation or working towards it.
• ADP exposure - or any other payroll software
• Understanding of payroll legislation, multiple province (preferable)
• Soft skills: accuracy, critical thinking, Microsoft Excel

Core Duties:

• Manage workflow ensuring all payroll transactions are accurate and timely
• Process manual checks, manage garnishments, liens, benefits, taxes, and deductions
• Manage, maintain, troubleshoot TokN E-timesheets system, and hold coordinators accountable to timelines
• Maintain a high level of security and confidentiality of sensitive information
• Audit and balance reports and returns prepared by ADP
• Maintain and resolve payroll issues with ADP
• Answer and resolve any payroll related queries from employees
• Maintain employee details in GreenTree and ADP
• Opportunity to learn & process US Payroll employees
• Maintain local jurisdictions registrations
• Assist in developing policy and procedures documentation for the Payroll Department
• Assist the Accounting Department with compliance reporting and annual audits
• Payroll size consists of 200 + Employees

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of Payroll experience
• Experience processing hourly & salaried employee's highly regarded
• ADP experience preferred
• Experience with handling payroll for multiple provinces/territories
• US payroll experience an advantage
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
• Intermediate with MS Office, primarily Excel spreadsheet

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
