About Coast Industrial Services:

Our Company specializes in the design, build, installation of custom and pre-existing machinery for a variety of industries. With over a decade of experience in the field, our team of skilled millwrights, electricians and technicians have the knowledge and expertise to bring your machining projects to life or to re-build old ones.

Coast Industrial Services is looking for an experienced Millwright/ Welder to join our fast-growing team with opportunity of growth.

At Coast you will find yourself working across the lower mainland installing, maintaining and repairing various machinery in assorted industries. The successful candidate will be experienced in industrial construction setting and machinery maintenance. Someone who is eager to learn and is hard working while following our core values of teamwork, safety and innovation.

Millwright job duties and responsibilities include:

  • Installing new machinery
  • Repairing and replacing defective machine parts
  • Ensuring machines work properly.

Responsibilities

  • Build new industrial and construction machinery.
  • Repair broken or defective machine parts
  • Review and follow machinery manuals.
  • Transfer machines to several sites, either to install them or repair them.
  • Disassembly and reassembly of machines.
  • Visit construction sites to assess potential problems or needs.
  • Collaborate with construction workers or engineers.

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar role
  • Hands-on experience with construction equipment and machinery
  • Availability to travel regularly to different sites.
  • Strong communication and computational skills
  • An eye for detail
  • Certification as a Millwright based on national standards.
  • Welding is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
