What You’ll Do

This role is all about variety and action. With a healthy dose of grit, you will roll up your sleeves to keep our campus pristine—whether that means rotating through our high-volume laundry facilities, keeping residential and commercial buildings beautifully clean, or helping set up spaces for campus events. It’s a physically active role where you’ll handle everything from operating floor polishers to lifting up to 50 pounds, all while following WorkSafe BC guidelines to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

What You Bring

  • A Strong Work Ethic: High personal standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and the stamina to handle a physically active, fast-paced role.
  • Great People Skills: A polite, professional demeanor and the ability to engage in respectful, positive conversations with young people and staff.
  • Physical Capability: The strength and agility to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, kneel, and climb ladders as part of your daily routine.
  • Flexibility: Reliability, punctuality, and the availability to consistently work our designated Friday to Tuesday schedule.
  • Requirements: Clear compliance with a Criminal Record Check and legal entitlement to work in Canada.
  • Assets: Previous high-volume cleaning or laundry experience, or WHMIS and First Aid training (though we are happy to provide on-the-job training for the right fit).
