Full job description

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Server to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to provide exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Server will be responsible for delivering outstanding service, maintaining product knowledge, and ensuring guest satisfaction from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests promptly and professionally.
  • Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about food and beverage offerings.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's POS system.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to requests or concerns promptly.
  • Process payments accurately and handle cash, credit, and digital transactions.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Assist with opening, closing, and side-work duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of serving experience in a full-service restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, beer, and cocktail service.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
  • Experience using POS systems and handling payments.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg).
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Smart Serve certification (or local equivalent) preferred.

Pay: $17.60 per hour
