Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to restaurant standards, ensuring high-quality meal presentation and food safety. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced food service environment, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation for various menu items, including salads, entrees, and sides
  • Cook dishes according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including proper food handling and storage
  • Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times
  • Assist with plating and garnishing dishes for service
  • Support the team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
  • Follow all health department regulations and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Experience

  • Previous experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food handling, and safety protocols is highly desirable
  • Experience with meal preparation and food service operations will be advantageous
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in a commercial kitchen environment is essential
