Location

Full job description

Hudson Condominium Solutions | Greater Toronto Area

Hudson Condominium Solutions is a growing HVAC contractor specializing in condominium buildings across the GTA.

We have been awarded a significant volume of fan coil remediation work and are building a dedicated crew of technicians to complete these projects.

We are specifically looking for people who have experience performing remediation or abatement work inside fan coil units, heat pumps, or similar HVAC equipment.

This is not a general drywall or construction remediation position. Experience working around HVAC equipment is strongly preferred.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform remediation and cleaning inside condominium fan coil units and heat pumps
  • Set up proper containment/enclosures around the work area
  • Set up and operate HEPA filtration/negative-air equipment
  • Remove contaminated or deteriorated internal insulation
  • Clean and remediate internal fan coil cabinets and components
  • Cut, fit, and install new HVAC insulation
  • Safely access equipment and prepare it for remediation
  • Isolate fan coils using supply and return isolation valves where required
  • Work carefully around coils, piping, valves, actuators, wiring, drain pans, and other HVAC components
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas inside occupied condominium suites
  • Follow Hudson procedures for documentation, quality control, and site safety

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate has previously worked on fan coil or heat pump remediation projects and already understands the general process.

You do not need to be a senior HVAC mechanic or master remediation technician.

We are looking for people who:

  • Have hands-on remediation/abatement experience
  • Have experience working specifically with fan coils, heat pumps, PTACs, or similar HVAC equipment
  • Understand containment and HEPA filtration procedures
  • Have experience removing and replacing internal HVAC insulation
  • Are comfortable identifying and operating fan coil isolation valves
  • Understand the importance of protecting coils, piping, electrical components, valves, and surrounding finishes while working
  • Can work efficiently without sacrificing quality
  • Are dependable and comfortable working independently inside condominium suites
  • Can complete repetitive projects consistently across multiple units

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous fan coil mould/remediation experience is strongly preferred
  • Previous HVAC service, installation, or maintenance experience
  • G2 Gas Technician licence is an asset
  • ODP certification is an asset
  • Valid Ontario driver's licence
  • Ability to travel to condominium sites throughout the GTA

Why Hudson

We are looking to build a strong, dedicated remediation team rather than simply hire temporary labour for one project.

For the right technicians, this represents an opportunity for consistent work, advancement, and a long-term role within a growing HVAC company.

If you have previously completed remediation work inside fan coils or heat pumps, we especially want to hear from you.

When applying, please briefly describe any fan coil, heat pump, HVAC remediation, containment, HEPA filtration, or insulation replacement experience you have.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Application question(s):

  • Have you done mould remediation for fan coils or heat pumps in condominiums? Explain what the process is
  • Do you have a G2 gas license or equivalent?
  • Do you have any other HVAC skills? Ex: can change actuators, blower motors, clean drain pans, etc
  • Do you have any certifications relating to mould remediation / abatement? If so, name them

Work Location: In person
