Job Summary

We are currently hiring experienced Metal Shop Operators / Metal Fabrication Associates for its manufacturing facility. We are seeking candidates with previous hands-on experience working with metal materials, fabrication equipment, welding, hand and power tools, and measuring instruments.

This is a full-time opportunity with openings on day, afternoon, and midnight shifts.

  • Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
  • Base Pay: $23.75 per hour + shift premiums
  • Hours: 40-44 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Measure, cut, bend, drill, grind, and form metal materials.
  • Operate metal fabrication equipment, including saws, presses, shears, drills, grinders, and other machinery.
  • Assemble metal components using hand and power tools.
  • Perform or assist with welding operations, where required.
  • Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and rulers to verify dimensions.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and specifications are met.
  • Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or quality concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Candidates must have previous experience in a metal fabrication, metal shop, machine shop, or manufacturing environment.

  • Experience operating metal fabrication or manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand basic blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Experience using measuring tools, including tape measures, calipers, and rulers.
  • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify basic quality issues and defects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials as required.

Available Shifts

  • Day Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
  • Afternoon Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:45 PM–12:00 AM ($1.15/hour shift premium)
  • Midnight Shift: Monday–Friday, 10:30 PM–7:00 AM ($2.00/hour shift premium)

Pay: $23.75-$25.75 per hour
