Precision Design Inc. is hiring a Mechanical Industrial Designer in Regina, SK. This is an onsite role for a designer who works in Autodesk Inventor and has a deep command of GD&T. You will own each project from the first sketch to the last bolt, and your drawings will be complete enough that the shop floor never has to call you to ask what you meant.

Who You Are:

  • You are a designer who treats "good enough" as a failure mode and reviews your own work before it ever leaves your desk.
  • You catch the small errors that compound later, the kind no one else notices until a part does not fit.
  • You think in first principles, so you control interfaces, motion, and performance because you understand them, not because that is how it has always been done.
  • You take full ownership of an outcome, close the loop, and say "I will handle it" without waiting to be told.
  • You bring proficiency in Autodesk Inventor for detailed 3D models, assemblies, and production-ready drawings.
  • You bring working knowledge of fabrication, machining, welding, casting, and assembly, plus materials selection across metals, plastics, and composites.

Who We Are:

  • Precision Design Inc. is a Canadian engineering and design firm working in industrial equipment design since 2006.
  • We serve clients across diverse industries with rapid prototyping, process safety, product development, 3D laser scanning, and reverse engineering.
  • We back our work with a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee.

What You Will Do Each Day:

  • Lead assigned projects from concept and client brief through to release-ready documentation.
  • Produce fully dimensioned 2D drawings with clear tolerances, fits, and manufacturing callouts.
  • Run design reviews and FMEA to catch tolerance and interface issues at the design stage, not on the floor.
  • Work with clients to define and refine design intent so the build matches what they actually need.
  • Stay involved through fabrication and commissioning to confirm performance in the real world.

Why You'll Love Working Here:

  • Full-time onsite role in Regina, Saskatchewan.
  • You own complete projects end to end and see your designs built across a range of industries.

Next Steps: If you want a role where your drawings are trusted to be complete, apply today.

Pay: $40,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
