URGENT HIRING – TECHNOLOGIST ASSISTANT

GNMI is urgently hiring a Technologist Assistant to join our diagnostic imaging team at 464 Welland Ave.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist MRI and CT technologists with daily clinical operations
  • Prepare patients for imaging examinations
  • Assist with patient screening, positioning, and transfers
  • Perform IV insertions after completing the required IV certification and training
  • Clean and prepare examination rooms
  • Maintain supplies and support efficient patient flow
  • Follow all infection-control and patient-safety procedures

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or diagnostic imaging environment is preferred
  • Must be willing to obtain IV insertion certification
  • Previous IV insertion experience is an asset
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable assisting and interacting with patients
  • Able to work effectively in a busy clinical environment
  • CPR/BLS certification is an asset
