Private Practice Opportunities:

Behaviour Specialists – Barrie, Orillia and surrounding areas

***Immediate need for behaviour specialists with daytime availability***

Bartimaeus is looking for Behaviour Specialists for private practice, contract-based work with children, adolescents, and/or adults with challenging behaviours, in a variety of settings - in a client's home, in the community, hospital/healthcare environment, the developmental sector, residential & day programs, and educational settings.

Qualifications:

When submitting your cover letter and resume, please highlight and address the following:

· Your education level – university degree/college diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in a related field (eg. CYW, CYC, DSW, SSW)

· A minimum of 5 years of full-time experience in managing challenging and disruptive behaviour, working with individuals in residential, non-residential, child welfare, community, hospital, school and other settings.

· Please highlight your work experience in mental health, as well as any experience working with individuals of all ages with developmental challenges, dual diagnosis, FASD, Autism, and other.

· Current First aid/CPR certificate

· Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check

· Ministry-approved Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training (UMAB, CPI, other)

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Access to a vehicle and current drivers licence

· Fully Vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 with an approved vaccine

Pay: $30.00-$33.00 per hour
