Full job description

About Veda
Veda is a new virtual mental health clinic built for the parenthood journey — fertility, pregnancy, loss, postpartum, parenting, and the relationships that carry people through it. We care for both parents, not just moms. Every clinician on our team is experienced in perinatal mental health, and our care is designed to help parents feel like themselves again.

The role
We're launching our practice with a small clinical team with perinatal-trained therapists delivering virtual care to parents and parents-to-be across Canada. You'll carry a caseload across individual therapy, couples work, parenting consultations, and/or group circles — matched to your training and interests.

What you'll do

  • Provide virtual therapy to clients navigating fertility, pregnancy, loss, postpartum, parenting, and relationship health
  • Deliver individual, couples, parenting, and/or group sessions within your scope
  • Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
  • Practise within provincial regulatory standards, and recognize when a client's needs fall outside virtual therapy and make appropriate referrals
  • Contribute to a clinical culture that takes perinatal care seriously

Who you are

Must-have

  • Registered and in good standing with a provincial regulatory college (e.g., CRPO, a provincial College of Social Workers, or College of Psychologists), and licensed to practise where your clients are located
  • Trained and experienced in perinatal mental health
  • 3+ years of post-registration clinical experience
  • Comfortable and effective delivering care virtually

Nice-to-have

  • Relational/couples training (EFT, Gottman)
  • Experience with grief and loss, fertility, or NICU populations
  • Care delivery in more than one language

Who's behind Veda
Veda is built by a team with real experience running best in class virtual care - including leading psychiatrists. We treat perinatal mental health as a specialty: every clinician on our team is trained and experienced in it, intake and matching are handled for you, and we back that seriousness with top-of-market compensation.

Why Veda

  • Top-of-market compensation that grows with tenure
  • Fully remote, with scheduling built around your life
  • A steady stream of clients actively seeking perinatal care — you focus on the work, we handle intake and matching
  • A team that treats perinatal mental health as a specialty, not an afterthought

How to apply
Send your CV and a short note about your perinatal experience to careers@vedaparenthood.com

Pay: From $133.00 per hour
