Job Summary

We are seeking 1 Program Supervisor. The successful candidates will be responsible for one program each, staff team and the individuals. In addition, provide implementation and co-ordination of client(s) and program goals in accordance with CRSS Policy and Procedures and Quality Assurance Measures compliances.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversee the daily operation of the program, managing staff, addressing incidents and staffing issues promptly, and reporting directly to the supervisor.
  • Serve as a liaison between staff and upper management, keeping them informed of potential issues and proactively monitoring the program’s dynamics to address concerns before they escalate.
  • Supervise, train, and orient new staff, ensuring proper integration and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Maintain appropriate scheduling coverage, including fulfilling on-call duties during the rotation schedule.
  • Engage regularly with assigned individuals, providing support, monitoring progress, assisting with skill development, and revising goals as needed.
  • Develop and implement individualized life skills programs and ensure individuals attend all required medical, dental, vision, and psychiatric appointment as needed
  • Collaborate with the program manager, team members, and families to create and review individualized treatment plans, ISPs, and interventions.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with community services, educational institutions, and families/guardians to support clients throughout their care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to staff as needed, while maintaining accurate, confidential case records for clients.
  • Complete all required administrative tasks and program paperwork in compliance with agency policies.
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Child Youth Worker diploma, Developmental Service Worker, Social Service Worker, OR a degree/diploma in a related field combined.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and administrative skills as well as effective interpersonal skills in order to effectively liaise with a variety of Agency staff, external professionals and individuals.
  • Computer literacy including Windows, Google Workspace, accurate database entry, and continuously developing technology proficiency.
  • Satisfactory clearance under the Police Reference Check program (VSS). Medical clearance in accordance with CRSS policy on pre-employment medicals.
  • Must hold valid, current First Aid and CPR, UMAB certificates as well as a Driver’s G License and satisfactory results on a Driver’s Abstract.

Compensation

  • $28.85 + $3.00 ( Ontario Wage Subsidy) Hourly. ** In accordance with the Ontario Wage Enhancement Program**
