About Us:

Cognitive Resilience Counselling Clinic (CRCC) is a group practice specialising in providing high-quality psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families in person in the Brampton area and virtually country wide. Our team of dedicated therapists are committed to fostering resilience and promoting mental well-being through evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate psychotherapist or social worker to join our team at CRCC. The successful candidate will work in-person at our Brampton location, providing individual, couples, and/or family therapy services and virtually as per client needs. We are looking for long term candidates that are able to stay on for 2 or more years. Both part time and full time candidates are encouraged to apply.

**WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR SOMEONE THAT CAN WORK WITH CHILDREN 4YO+ AND ADULTS**

Compensation:

  • $90 - $120/hr (Rate will vary depending on clinical expertise; i.e. EMDR certified therapists or those with more years of practice will have a higher rate)
  • 60/40 split. Therapist gets paid 60% of the client rate. Client Rate will depend on therapist experience and demand.
  • Please note, if you are in the qualifying stage of your licensing with CRPO, compensation would likely start at $78 (60% of $130)
  • Opportunities for an increase in split

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychotherapy assessments and formulating treatment plans.
  • Providing evidence-based psychotherapy to clients with various mental health concerns, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues.
  • Collaborating with clients to develop coping strategies and enhance resilience.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements with PIPEDA.
  • Participating in regular clinical supervision and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, or Counselling Psychology.
  • Registration with either the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines.
  • Competency working working children and adults
