Duties

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
  • Monitor clients' health status by observing changes in their condition and reporting concerns to healthcare professionals.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Follow individualized care plans as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided and any changes in client condition.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Home Health Aide/Community Support Worker or in a similar caregiving role is preferred but not required.
  • Certification as a Home Health Aide or Community Support Worker completion of a relevant training program is advantageous.
  • Registered Nurse from a Country other than Canada combined with Canadian HealthCare experience will be considered
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting and assisting clients as needed.
  • A genuine passion for helping others and providing high-quality care in a home setting.
  • Must have own vehicle in good working condition and class 5 drivers license

Availability:

Must be available for Monday to Fridays days and alternating weekend. We also have weekend only positions available for caregivers.

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
