Lawlor Therapy Support Services Inc. is currently seeking part-time, experienced community Rehabilitation Support Workers (RSWs) and Rehabilitation Therapists to join their team. The ideal candidates are positive, energetic, creative, and enthusiastic professionals who can work collaboratively to support clients in the company on their rehabilitation journey.

Position Overview:

  • Clientele: Youth and adults with an acquired brain injury (ABI), work-related illnesses, mental health diagnoses, spinal cord injuries, or similar conditions.
  • Key Responsibilities: Facilitating community rehabilitation programs under the direction of regulated healthcare professionals ( O.T, S.L.P, P.T)to help clients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
  • Work Hours: Part-time/ hourly, typically between 9 AM and 5 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • Travel: RSWs must be willing to travel up to an hour from their home and transport clients using their personal vehicle (appropriate auto insurance required). Travel time is reimbursed.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years working with individuals with brain injuries or related conditions is mandatory.
  • Education: College or University education in a relative program, such as Physiotherapist Assistant, Behavioural Therapy, Kinesiologist, Occupational Therapist Assistant, Social Work, Developmental Services Worker, Psychology, Sociology, etc.
  • Transportation: Must have a reliable vehicle and appropriate auto insurance.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $29 to $35 per hour, depending on experience and role.
  • Positions Available: Both employee and independent contractor roles are available.
  • Benefits: Mandatory employment benefits. vacation pay, holiday pay, and eligibility for Employment Insurance (EI) benefits.

Important Notes:

  • This role is not a Personal Support Worker (PSW) position.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
