1 Casual Diagnostic Imaging X-Ray Clerk
Position to commence immediately
Position Summary:
We are looking for a hard working individual who possess strong customer service and multi-tasking skills. The ideal candidate should have a great desire to provide patients and medical staff with the highest level of customer service, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be detail-oriented. Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. We want to hear from you if you are a warm, friendly outgoing person who will make our patients feel welcomed.
Vacancy Status:
The posting is for one (1) current casual vacancy.
Hours of Work:
Day shifts from Monday to Friday as required. Weekend shifts may be required in the future based on operational needs.
Hourly Wage:
$29.12 - $30.42
Duties Include:
- Greeting patients and public in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner.
- Register and schedule patients in an efficient and timely manner.
- Work within the Radiology Information System (RIS), Picture Archive Communication System (PACS), Meditech Magic and other software systems as needed.
- Answer telephones, take messages, and coordinate the flow of communication within the department in a professional manner.
- Clerical duties, including data entry and general typing to support the Director.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Meditech Community Wide Scheduling module preferred.
- Experience with PowerServer by Ramsoft PACS preferred.
- Experience with NovaRad RIS system preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Previous experience in diagnostic imaging preferred.
- Experience in computer technology, word processing and other office equipment.
- Medical Terminology.
- Ability to work independently as well as a member of our team.
- Ability to adapt to change in workload and environment.
- Must have great multi-tasking skills and customer service awareness.
