Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated, compassionate, and energetic Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. If you are passionate about helping people and have a desire to make a difference in the lives of others, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Physiotherapist with following treatment protocols.
  • Help with the implementation of individualized treatment plans and exercises
  • Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
  • Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and perform regular inventory checks for supplies
  • Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and home exercise programs
  • Document patient progress and communicate it to the Physiotherapist
  • Perform other administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, helping front desk as required
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities
  • Follow all infection control and safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements:

  • Certified Physiotherapy Assistant or relevant certification
  • 1-2 years of experience in a physiotherapy setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Physical ability to assist with patient movements and exercises
  • Ability to work flexible hours and on weekends, if required
