Full job description

Job Title: Primary Care Paramedic

Location: Various Transmission line locations - Northern Ontario (Must be willing to Travel)

Shift Rotation: 20 Days on, 10 days off

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Primary Care Paramedics to join our team at Various locations across Northern Ontario. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the Health and Safety of all personnel on the remote work site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emergency medical care and treatment to injured or ill personnel.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the safety team to implement and monitor health and safety protocols.
  • Support the Occupational Health Nurse
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
  • Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Primary Care Paramedic in the province of Ontario
  • Experience in an industrial settings is essential
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate emergency vehicles.
  • Must have own vehicle - Required to drive to mine site each day from accommodations
  • Clean drug and Alcohol test
  • Clear criminal record check
