Job Overview:

ProMed HR Solutions Ltd is a Canadian company specializing in addressing locum requirements in the Hospital Settings. Our goal is to reduce patient wait times by providing qualified professionals. We work closely with healthcare facilities to match their specific needs with the most qualified individuals.

Position Title: Medical Laboratory Technologist

  • Perform specimen testing in the core lab settings.
  • Perform and interpret blood testing for transfusion, cross-matching, and typing.
  • Perform chemistry testing, including cardiac enzymes and electrolyze
  • Proficient in Hematology/Coagulation studies
  • Perform Manual testing – Mono, Malaria, Drug screen, Genexpert, RSVna
  • Perform Quality Assurance , validate and interpret test results
  • Operate and maintain different Medical Lab equipment.
  • Provide an excellent patient care and maintain patient information confidentiality.
  • Cerner trained and hospital experince preferred

Requirements:

  • A two- or three-year college program in medical laboratory technology.
  • Certified by the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) in good standing.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of working experience.
  • Strong Communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in different work settings with diverse communities and populations.

Base Rate: $60 per hour

Additional Compensation:

  • Travel Pay
  • Travel and accommodation provided
  • Reimbursement for out-of-province licensing fees
