Job Overview

For this position we are seeking a Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is vital in providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency with office software. Experience in medical or dental office settings is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and multitasking are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and clients warmly, providing a positive first impression
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls efficiently and professionally
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars using Practice Management software.
  • Perform data entry with accuracy, including patient or client information in relevant databases .
  • Handle administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and organizing documents.
  • Assist with billing, bookkeeping, and basic financial record keeping as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously
  • Proofread correspondence and documents for accuracy before distribution
  • Support office staff with clerical tasks to ensure efficient workflow
  • Process Insurance Claims to and from Various Dental Insurance Companies.

Experience/ Qualifications

Necessary training to be provided.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.

  • Excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills are essential
  • Previous experience handling multi-line phone systems and front desk responsibilities is highly desirable
