Full job description

We are seeking a motivated, organized, and proactive individual to join our team as an Executive & Clinical Dental Assistant. This unique role combines traditional dental assisting responsibilities with direct support for the principal dentist across multiple office locations.

The successful candidate will work closely alongside the principal dentist on a daily basis, assisting with both clinical procedures and operational tasks. This position offers exceptional exposure to all aspects of dentistry, practice management, and patient care, making it an excellent opportunity for someone interested in developing their skills in the dental field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany the principal dentist between 3 office locations and provide support throughout the day
  • Provide chairside assistance during a wide range of dental procedures
  • Prepare operatories, instruments, and materials for patient treatment
  • Maintain sterilization and infection prevention protocols
  • Assist with patient intake, documentation, imaging, and treatment coordination
  • Support daily administrative and operational needs of the principal dentist
  • Coordinate schedules, communications, and workflow between offices
  • Assist with special projects, inventory management, and other practice initiatives
  • Anticipate needs and proactively contribute to the smooth operation of the practice

Qualifications:

  • Dental assisting experience is preferred; training may be provided for the right candidate
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Professional, dependable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working in multiple office environments and with diverse patient populations
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Travel Requirement: This position requires regular travel between our office locations in Richmond Hill, Scarborough, and Ajax. Candidates must be able and willing to commute between offices, as needed, to support the principal dentist and the clinical team.
