Overview

We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, hygiene schedule, providing excellent patient service, and supporting the administrative functions of the office. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive patient experience. Candidates with dental office experience, familiarity with dental software - Tracker (ideal but not manditory), and a strong administrative skills are highly preferred.

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and efficiently check them in and out of the office
  • Manage appointment scheduling using Tracker
  • Verify patient insurance information and process billing as needed
  • Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and professionally
  • Collect payments, co-pays, and outstanding balances from patients
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service at the front desk
  • Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming

Experience

  • Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting is preferred
  • Proficiency with dental management software, Tracker ideal but not required
  • Knowledge of terminology related to dentistry and healthcare
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and insurance providers
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Hours are as follow

  • Monday 12pm to 8pm
  • Tuesday 9am to 4pm
  • Wednesday 12pm to 8pm
  • Friday 7:30am to 3pm
  • Saturday - once a month (schedule given 6 months in advance)

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
