Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part Time Optical Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in optical services and retail sales, demonstrating excellent customer service skills. You will play a crucial role in helping patients select the right eyewear and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that meet their needs and preferences.
  • Provide expert advice on lens options, coatings, and frame styles.
  • Conduct measurements for eyewear fittings, ensuring accuracy for optimal comfort and vision.
  • Maintain an organized display of eyewear products and ensure inventory levels are adequate.
  • Process orders for eyewear, including verifying prescriptions and managing laboratory work.
  • Educate patients on proper eyewear care and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to products or services.

Skills

  • Proficient in using optical equipment and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to eye care.
  • Experience in retail sales, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Familiarity with optical products, including lenses and frames.
