Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Osteopath to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide holistic musculoskeletal care, utilizing manual therapy techniques to improve patient well-being. Your expertise will help patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and enhance their overall health. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives through personalized treatment plans and compassionate care.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify musculoskeletal issues and develop tailored treatment strategies
  • Perform manual therapy techniques such as massage, manipulation, and stretching to alleviate pain and improve mobility
  • Maintain detailed case management records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medical histories
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, posture correction, and lifestyle modifications for long-term health benefits
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care, especially in acute or complex cases
  • Utilize medical terminology accurately when documenting patient interactions and treatment procedures
  • Manage appointment schedules efficiently using Microsoft Outlook and organize patient data with Microsoft Word and Excel

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Osteopath or in a similar manual therapy role with a focus on musculoskeletal health
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology relevant to osteopathic practice
  • Experience working in hospital settings or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
  • Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency (including French) to serve diverse patient populations effectively
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly explain treatment plans and foster patient trust
  • Mechanical knowledge related to body mechanics and movement patterns for effective therapy application
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously with strong organizational skills and time management capabilities
  • Familiarity with case management systems and electronic health records for accurate documentation
  • Acute care experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to handle urgent or complex cases efficiently
