Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Licensee to oversee the legal and operational compliance of our pharmacy services. This vital role ensures that all pharmacy activities adhere to regulatory standards, maintaining the highest level of patient safety and care. As the Pharmacy Licensee, you will lead the pharmacy team, manage licensing requirements, and uphold rigorous standards in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Your expertise will directly contribute to delivering exceptional medication management and patient support across various clinical settings.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the pharmacy operates in full compliance with all federal, state, and local licensing regulations.
  • Maintain and renew pharmacy licenses, permits, and registrations as required by law.
  • Oversee medication dispensing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to medical terminology and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to support patient care initiatives, including medication administration and pediatric treatments.
  • Supervise pharmacy staff, providing guidance on hospital and acute care procedures, including pediatrics and patient-centered services.
  • Implement policies for medication storage, handling, and documentation to uphold safety standards.
  • Conduct regular audits of pharmacy operations to identify areas for improvement and ensure ongoing compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

  • Valid pharmacist license with current registration in the applicable jurisdiction.
  • Must been registered on ACP’s clinical pharmacist register or as a pharmacist in another Canadian jurisdiction for the past two consecutive years or more;
  • Must have been Licensee for at least 1 year in the last 5 years, or Must have been proprietor for at least 2 consecutive years in the last 10 years
  • Must have completed or willing to complete ACP’s Licensee and Proprietor Education Programs (LPEP) within next week (before Aug 23rd 2026)
