Signature Medical Centre is looking for a part-time / full-time Medical office assistant to work with a collegial, friendly, patient-centred clinic.

Qualifications and Experience
  • MOA Certification is required
  • Minimum 2 years experience working as an MOA (Medical Office Assistant)
  • Strong knowledge of PS Suite EMR
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Answering calls
  • Booking/confirming appointments
  • Preparing the room and the patient for the Doctor
  • Requisitions and forms
  • Strong typing skills
  • Billing (including: submission, reconciliation, printing reports, and third party billing)
  • Worker’s compensation board procedures
  • Electronic funds transfer technology
  • Filing systems
  • Mail document sorting and detailing
  • Making referral appointments
  • Computer software programs and applications (billing systems and Microsoft Office programs)
  • Ordering supplies
  • Scanning test results
