Location: Nanaimo, BC
Status: Casual
Work Schedule: Days
Hourly Rate: $40.00 to $43.00
Carecor Health Services is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support specialty medical clinics in long‑term care homes across British Columbia. This role focuses on assisting with the administration of spasticity medications and providing high‑quality clinical and administrative support to physicians, LTC staff, and residents.
We are hiring a full-time or part-time LPN (or RN) to provide clinic coordination, hands-on clinical assistance, and medical education during specialty spasticity management clinics held within long-term care homes.
The ideal candidate brings experience in long-term care and feels confident working both independently and collaboratively.
Area of Work: Successful candidates will be seeing clients on Vancouver Island, in the following areas: Comox, Courtenay, Nanaimo, Parksville, Qualicum, Victoria.

Key Responsibilities
- Support physicians during specialty medical clinics in LTC homes
- Assist with patient assessments, treatments, and spasticity medication preparation
- Set up and clean up equipment and resident rooms before and after procedures
- Maintain and track medical supplies and clinic materials
- Communicate with LTC staff, physicians, and pharmacy partners to coordinate clinic logistics
- Provide education and support to residents, families, and LTC staff
- Complete required documentation and follow infection prevention and control procedures
Job Qualifications

- Current registration as an LPN (or RN) in British Columbia
- Experience in long-term care is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to travel daily by car, with occasional overnight travel (car allowance provided)
- Comfort speaking to small groups
