Position: Sterilization Assistant
Location: Cochrane, AB
Clinic: Camp Sayahh Kids Dental Care

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Sterilization Assistant to join our team, a proud part of the Passion Dental Group. Whether you're early in your career or bring years of experience, you'll be joining a supportive, professional environment where your commitment to safety, organization, and teamwork plays a vital role in helping patients feel comfortable and cared for.

Specifics about the role:
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7:15 to 3:30
What you’ll do:
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms according to clinic and industry protocols.
  • Maintain proper functioning of sterilization equipment and ensure regular documentation of cycles.
  • Organize and restock operatories to keep the clinic running smoothly.
  • Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous materials.
  • Support the clinical team to ensure every patient receives care in a safe and prepared environment.
What you’ll bring to the role:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a dental or healthcare sterilization/infection control role is preferred; however, we will train the right candidate.
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Friendly, professional demeanour with a patient-first mindset
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
