Full job description

Clinic Manager Riverview Chiropractic Clinic – St. Albert, Alberta.

We're Not Looking for a Receptionist. We're Looking for the Person Who Helps Our Clinic Thrive.

For over 30 years, Riverview Chiropractic Clinic has earned the trust of thousands of patients by providing exceptional chiropractic and massage therapy services in a caring, professional environment.

Our reputation has never been built on fancy advertising—it has been built on exceptional people.

Today, we're looking for another one.

If you're the type of person who naturally takes ownership, solves problems before anyone notices them, loves creating an exceptional patient experience, and enjoys helping a healthcare team perform at its very best, we'd love to meet you.

This isn't simply a front desk position.

It is an opportunity to become the operational leader of one of St. Albert's most respected chiropractic clinics.

About Riverview

Our mission is simple:

Help every patient feel welcomed, respected, listened to, and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors until they leave feeling better than when they arrived.

Every interaction matters.

Every phone call matters.

Every schedule matters.

Every detail matters.

Our Clinic Manager plays a central role in making that happen.

Who You Are

You are someone who naturally takes pride in your work.

People describe you as organized, dependable, calm under pressure, positive, and someone who "just gets things done."

You don't wait to be told what needs attention—you notice it first.

You enjoy creating systems.

You enjoy helping people.

You enjoy making busy days run smoothly.

You believe that healthcare starts long before a patient sees the doctor.

Most importantly, you care deeply about delivering outstanding customer service.

What You'll Be Responsible For

As Clinic Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day administrative operation of the clinic while helping create an outstanding patient experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the daily operation of our reception area
  • Creating a welcoming first impression for every patient
  • Managing practitioner schedules using Jane Practice Management Software
  • Coordinating appointments efficiently and accurately
  • Processing payments and maintaining financial accuracy
  • Managing direct billing submissions
  • Coordinating Alberta WCB and Motor Vehicle Accident claims
  • Monitoring accounts receivable and assisting with collections
  • Maintaining confidential electronic health records
  • Supporting clinic quality improvement initiatives
  • Coordinating administrative workflow
  • Maintaining clinic supplies and organization
  • Helping improve systems, processes, and efficiency
  • Assisting the doctors and therapists so they can focus on providing exceptional patient care

Simply put…

You help keep the clinic running exceptionally well.

What Success Looks Like

Six months from now...

Patients know your name.

Schedules run smoothly.

Billing is accurate.

Insurance claims are submitted efficiently.

The reception area feels calm—even on busy days.

Problems are solved before they become problems.

Our practitioners trust you.

Our patients appreciate you.

Our clinic continues to grow because people genuinely enjoy their experience.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Minimum three years' experience in a chiropractic, physiotherapy, massage, dental, or medical clinic
  • Strong working knowledge of Jane Practice Management Software
  • Experience with direct billing to insurance companies
  • Experience with Alberta WCB and Motor Vehicle Accident claims
  • Experience with patient scheduling
  • Accounts receivable and financial reconciliation experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Professional judgment and confidentiality
  • Confidence working independently while supporting a collaborative team

Preferred:

  • Medical Office Assistant diploma or equivalent healthcare administration experience
  • Previous leadership or clinic management experience
  • Experience training or mentoring administrative staff

The Kind of Person Who Will Love This Position

You probably enjoy this role if you:

✔ Love organizing chaos.

✔ Like making systems work better.

✔ Find satisfaction in helping others succeed.

✔ Take ownership instead of waiting for instructions.

✔ Genuinely enjoy helping people.

✔ Believe details matter.

✔ Prefer solving problems rather than talking about them.

✔ Want to build a career—not just work another reception desk.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation based on experience
  • Full-time permanent employment
  • Stable Monday–Friday position
  • Supportive leadership team
  • Modern healthcare technology using Jane
  • An established patient base
  • Continuing education opportunities
  • Professional growth and increased responsibility
  • Respectful, collaborative workplace culture
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives every day

Compensation

$24.00–$30.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

Additional compensation opportunities may be available as responsibilities grow.
