Rehab First Inc. is currently seeking a Registered Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in the Barrie Area to support our growing client base through community-based service delivery. This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Rehab First is one of Ontario's largest multidisciplinary assessment and treatment organizations, with a growing team of approximately 120 professionals specializing in a variety of disciplines. Guided by our values - sincerity, commitment, and self-improvement - we aim to restore hope and function for clients impacted by serious injury and illness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct general and specialized assessment (cognitive communication, reading comprehension, speech, swallowing)
  • Provide client treatment in community settings
  • Work with a diverse client base
  • Prepare and submit case notes and reports
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Valid G driver's license, auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (dated within the last 6 months prior to hire date)
  • Superior communication, problem-solving, time-management and documentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Clinical skills in evidence-based practice
