Full job description

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Admin/Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our dental office. This role requires a blend of administrative skills and knowledge of medical terminology, ensuring smooth communication between patients and dental staff.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the dental office and assist with check-in procedures.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments using ClearDent.
  • Manage phone systems effectively, answering calls promptly and addressing patient inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the electronic medical records system.
  • Process patient payments and handle billing inquiries with professionalism.
  • Assist in managing the flow of patients within the office to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate efficient office operations and enhance patient experience.
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient information.

Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of dental admin experience needed.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
  • Knowledge of ClearDent software is an asset.
  • Experience with phone systems to handle incoming calls professionally.
  • Must be available for weekend and evening shifts.
