Full-Time Receptionist/Patient Care Assistant

About Us

St. Clairwest is a growing physiotherapy clinic located in a medical building at Bathurst and St. Clair. We are looking for a very reliable, punctual, and social Full-Time Receptionist/Patient Care Assistant to join our team.

Job Type: Full-time

Your Duties

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, including greeting patients and answering calls and emails
  • Schedule appointments and process payments
  • File medical reports and handle administrative tasks
  • Prepare each treatment room neatly for clients, including laundry and towels
  • Sterilize and clean equipment and examination rooms
  • Keep the clinic tidy, clean, and organized at all times
  • Support the team in a fast-paced clinic environment and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Help train, guide, and support reception/front desk staff
  • Monitor daily clinic tasks to ensure they are completed accurately and on time
  • Assist with maintaining consistent clinic procedures and patient service standards
  • Complete regular inventory counts and report items that need to be ordered
  • Conduct team huddles to review updates, priorities, and clinic tasks
  • Create and maintain cleaning/disinfecting templates and tracking sheets
  • Follow up to ensure assigned tasks are completed properly and signed off

About You

  • Extremely reliable and punctual
  • Friendly, social, polite, and professional with both patients and staff
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to guide, support, and motivate a team
  • Very attentive to detail and committed to completing tasks accurately
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using Mac/iMac computers and clinic software
  • Comfortable multitasking and managing competing priorities
  • Professional, patient-focused, and highly organized
  • Able to adapt, problem-solve, and be proactive in a fast-paced environment
  • Extremely friendly and pleasant in person, over the phone, and by email
  • Previous experience in customer service, healthcare, and/or a supervisory role
  • Must be available Monday - Friday and some Saturdays.

Education & Experience

  • University student, College diploma or equivalent; preference for Kinesiology or Health-related studies
  • Experience in administration, office services, or similar roles preferred
  • Prior healthcare experience is an asset
  • Jane-app experience is an asset
  • Previous supervisory, team lead, or training experience

COVID-19 Considerations:

  • Front desk protected by plexiglass
  • All staff are fully vaccinated
