Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our growing healthcare team. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while supporting physicians and clinic operations. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative healthcare setting dedicated to providing outstanding care to our community.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
  • Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups
  • Maintain electronic health records using medical software such as MedAccess
  • Manage medical office inventory and supplies
  • Perform administrative duties at the front desk

Qualifications:

  • Not less than 2 years previous experience in a medical office setting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in using office equipment and phone systems
  • Familiarity with electronic health records systems like MedAccess is a plus
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask like an octopus on caffeine.
