About us

A family medicine clinic in London, Ontario (N5Z 3V3) is looking to hire an efficient, reliable, and friendly Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our team.

Our goal is to enhance community well-being by providing comprehensive, accessible, and patient-centred healthcare services.

We are seeking a motivated individual who is organized, professional, and able to work effectively in a busy family medicine environment.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Greeting and assisting patients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answering and managing telephone calls and patient inquiries
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments based on triage priority
  • Managing patient records and updating electronic medical records
  • Processing referrals, requisitions, and other medical documentation
  • Supporting physicians and other clinic staff with administrative tasks
  • Maintaining a well-organized and efficient front desk
  • Performing other medical office duties as required
  • Assist with billing and payments (OHIP, WSIB, and Third Party)

Qualifications:

  • Diploma from community college in Medical Office Administration
  • Previous experience in a medical office or family medicine clinic is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
  • Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records
  • Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • new graduates are preferred

  • EMR experience required, preferably Telus PS Suite
