As a Sr. Associate II supporting Alcon’s Vision Care Fields Sales team, in Montreal East, North Shore and Abitibi you will be trusted to work and achieve mutually beneficial goals with Eye Care Practitioners by presenting innovative Alcon products and solutions to meet the needs of their patients and their practices. In this role a typical day will include:

Align with customers using a consultative approach to identify the needs of our customers – Eye Care Practitioners (ECPs) – which include both their patients and their businesses. Align Alcon products and services to solve for their unmet needs.
-
Grow sales by shifting customer beliefs and behaviours to prescribe and recommend Alcon innovative products as their first-choice product lines.
-
Provide product and technical consultation to doctors on science and appropriate use of Alcon products.
-
Develop a highly structured territory strategy and plan by following marketing strategies and leveraging a variety of data tools, including account information, territory mapping, call reporting data (SalesForce.com), Alcon sales data, with the support of the Associate Sales Director.
-
Develop a strong executional plan and routing schedule for the territory to capitalize on revenue from the highest potential customers. Plan and execute calls daily.
-
Develop and maintain customer relationships by responding to all customer requests within 24 hours, performing customer call follow-up activities and resolving customer issues in a timely manner.
-
Using analytical tools available, develop business insights to customize your approach to give the best possible Alcon Experience to every customer.
-
Collaborate with the team to conduct Regional/local conferences, aligning on priorities and responsibilities, ensuring customer engagement opportunities with key stakeholders are arranged and executed. Participate in and network with customers at conventions, educational events (may include some evenings and weekend events).

Conduct CE opportunities in territory, aligning with division counterparts where necessary, and managing all aspects of CE events.
-
Contribute to the Regional team to help develop region-specific sales opportunities.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
-
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent college diploma
-
3 – 5 years sales experience
-
Advanced written and verbal communication skills in French and English
-
Business acumen with proven analytical ability, organizational and negotiating/networking skills.
-
Strong business experience in Health Sciences preferably eye care arena
-
Strong interpersonal skills, including presentation skills. Leadership and marketing skills paired with financial understanding a strong bonus.

Computer literacy in MS Office environment (PowerPoint and Excel) and experience with a computerized sales administration system
Preferred Qualifications:

BSc, BA, Marketing or Finance

1 – 5 years within industry experience (eye care, medical device, pharma)

Établir une relation avec les clients en utilisant une approche consultative afin d’identifier leurs besoins, soit ceux des professionnels des soins de la vue, de leurs patients et de leur entreprise. Positionner les produits et services d’Alcon pour répondre à leurs besoins non comblés.

Développer les ventes en influençant les croyances et les comportements des clients afin qu’ils prescrivent et recommandent les produits innovants d’Alcon comme leur premier choix.
-
Fournir aux professionnels des soins de la vue des conseils techniques et des consultations sur les produits concernant les données scientifiques et l’utilisation appropriée des produits Alcon.
-
Élaborer une stratégie territoriale structurée ainsi qu’un plan d’action en suivant les stratégies de marketing et en utilisant divers outils d’analyse de données, incluant les informations sur les comptes, la cartographie du territoire, les données de rapports d’appels (Salesforce.com) et les données de ventes d’Alcon, avec le soutien du directeur associé des ventes.

Développer un solide plan d’exécution et un calendrier de visites pour maximiser les revenus auprès des clients présentant le plus grand potentiel. Planifier et effectuer des visites clients quotidiennement.

Développer et maintenir des relations avec les clients en répondant à toutes les demandes dans un délai de 24 heures, en assurant les suivis nécessaires et en résolvant rapidement les problèmes.

Utiliser les outils analytiques disponibles afin de générer des perspectives d’affaires permettant de personnaliser votre approche et d’offrir la meilleure expérience Alcon possible à chaque client.

Collaborer avec l’équipe pour organiser des conférences régionales et locales, en harmonisant les priorités et les responsabilités, tout en assurant l’organisation et l’exécution des occasions d’engagement client avec les principaux intervenants. Participer à des congrès et événements éducatifs et développer son réseau auprès des clients (ce qui peut inclure certaines soirées et fins de semaine).

Organiser des activités de formation continue (FC) dans le territoire en collaboration avec les partenaires des autres divisions lorsque requis, et gérer tous les aspects de ces événements.

CE QUE VOUS APPORTEREZ À ALCON

Baccalauréat ou diplôme collégial équivalent.
-
De 3 à 5 ans d’expérience en ventes.

Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et verbale en français et anglais.

Solide sens des affaires avec compétences démontrées en analyse, organisation, négociation et réseautage.

Expérience d’affaires en sciences de la santé, idéalement dans le domaine des soins oculaires.

Excellentes habiletés interpersonnelles, incluant les aptitudes de présentation. Des compétences en leadership, en marketing et une bonne compréhension financière constituent des atouts importants.

Maîtrise des outils de la suite Microsoft Office (PowerPoint et Excel) ainsi qu’une expérience avec un système informatisé d’administration des ventes.
Qualifications privilégiées
