This is an opportunity to join a new, highly automated beverage operation from start-up, gain hands-on experience across beverage quality, microbiology and analytical testing, and develop your technical skills as the Evans operation grows.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform routine analytical and microbiological testing of ingredients, in-process product, finished product, and environmental samples.

· Aseptically collect and process samples throughout the batching, blending, and packaging process.

· Perform product quality and specification testing with a high level of accuracy and reliability.

· Conduct environmental monitoring, equipment and product swabbing, and sanitation verification activities.

· Accurately record and review laboratory results and promptly escalate out-of-specification results or other quality and food safety concerns.

· Support product hold and release activities by ensuring required testing is completed accurately and on time.

· Prepare laboratory media, standards, reagents, and samples according to established procedures.

· Calibrate, verify, and maintain laboratory equipment and support proficiency testing to ensure reliable and accurate results.

· Support sensory evaluation and other product assessment activities as required.

· Work closely with Blending, Packaging, and Quality to support production, troubleshoot quality issues, and ensure products meet approved specifications.

· Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready laboratory records while following all safety, food safety, GMP, and laboratory procedures.

· Support commissioning, validation, start-up, and production ramp-up activities by executing established Quality Control testing and verification requirements.

What We're Looking For

· Post-secondary degree or diploma in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Science, Chemistry, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline.

· Previous laboratory, Quality Control, food, beverage, or manufacturing experience is preferred.

· Strong understanding of basic microbiological and analytical laboratory techniques.

· Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform testing accurately and consistently.

· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage changing production priorities.

· Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively with Quality and Operations.

· Commitment to safety, food safety, product quality, and accurate documentation.

· Flexibility to work the shifts required to support a continuous manufacturing operation.

Preferred Experience

· Beverage, RTD, food, or other liquid-processing manufacturing.

· Microbiological, analytical, environmental monitoring, or sanitation verification testing.

· Laboratory equipment calibration, verification, and method validation.

· FSSC 22000, HACCP, or other recognized food safety management systems.

·
