Job Description


As a Sales Development Representative (Province of Ontario), you will be involved in MEDFAR's sales activities. The incumbent will be involved in the business development and sale of MYLE, our electronic medical record, to front-line establishments in Canada. Under the Sales Director, you will join a multidisciplinary team whose mandate is to support the strong growth of MEDFAR by participating in sales efforts.

We are seeking our first sales team member based in the Ottawa region. You will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the success of MYLE in Ontario and MEDFAR’s organic growth.

This person will focus primarily on the Ontario Health East region, including the greater Ottawa region.

Main Responsibilities

  • Establish communication with first-line healthcare establishments in order to present our range of products.
  • Travel to clinics in Ontario to meet potential clients and present them with the functionalities that come with the MYLE application.
  • Participate in the development of its territory and analyze new sales and upsell opportunities.
  • Coordinate and participate in product demonstrations among potential users.
  • Collaborate with the internal team and the Sales Manager on various projects aimed at optimizing sales and standing out from the competition.
  • Ensuring customer follow-ups and bridging the gap with the internal team if necessary.
  • Establish/maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ability to leverage them for new sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with the New Market Manager to increase overall sales quotas and win rates.

Qualifications


Ideally, you have:

  • University degree in business administration, communication, or other related discipline;
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in B2B sales;
  • Proven prospecting and market penetration experience, in a similar sector (asset);
  • Interest and passion for sales;
  • Determination and ease in establishing good relationships with clients quickly;
  • Team player with a positive mindset;
  • Good knowledge and autonomy in the use of technologies;
  • Known for excelling in a fast-paced and competitive environment;
  • Advanced level of English (both oral and written);
  • Knowledge of Ontario's provincial health system (asset).

Assets:

  • An experience as a Medical office assistant (MOA), customer service, or Marketing experience.
  • Understanding of medical clinical processes.
  • Prospective client lead generation tool experience.
  • Salesforce software experience.


Working conditions:

  • This job requires commuting to our clients' offices (3-4 days per week).
  • This job is located within the Ontario Health East region, including the greater Ottawa region.
  • Candidates must have a car and a valid driver's license.
  • Compensation: Salary based on experience + commission + cell allowance & car mileage reimbursement.
